Izidora LETHE created four works that play with flowing color gradients and strong color accents. The monotypes have both a painterly and performative character. Initially, LETHE explores color as a formal tool and uses the flat, red-toned background as a contrast to the powdery green. While the uniform color gradient was classically created with a printing roller, the green accents are blown color pigments. The performative approach of the "blowout" series lies in this repetitive and physically strenuous act of exhalation. LETHE's works often examine physical presence as well as its formal limitation in space. By determining the composition of the present works through the breath, LETHE simultaneously creates artistic presence and a physical boundary of the body.

Izidora LETHE schuf vier Werke, die mit fliessenden Farbverläufen und kräftigen Farbakzenten spielen. Die Monotypien haben einen malerischen wie auch performativen Charakter. Zunächst erkundet LETHE Farbe als ein formales Gestaltungsmittel und nutzt den flächigen Hintergrund in Abendrottönen als Kontrastpunkt zum pulvrig wirkenden Grün. Während der regelmässige Farbübergang klassisch mit einer Druckwalze erzeugt wurde, handelt es sich bei den grünen Akzenten um gepustete Farbpigmente. In diesem repetitiven wie auch physisch anstrengenden Akt des Ausatmens liegt der performative Ansatz der Serie «blowout». LETHEs Werke untersuchen oftmals körperliche Präsenz sowie auch deren formale Limitation im Raum. Indem die Komposition der vorliegenden Werke durch den Atem bestimmt wird, schafft LETHE gleichzeitig künstlerische Anwesenheit und eine physische Grenze des Körpers.
